The Siddha Yoga Ashram in Sydney, Hurlstone Park is dedicated to the study and practice of the teachings of a spiritual master.

The Ashram exists for spiritual seekers because of the inspiration and love of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and her Guru, Baba Muktananda and is filled with the Guru's blessings, enabling seekers to focus on their spiritual journey.

Home to the city's Siddha Yoga community since 1983, the Ashram's sacred atmosphere is supported with its spacious layout, quiet surrounds and peaceful gardens.
The Ashram hosts Meditation Intensives and courses and celebrates special events in the Siddha Yoga calendar. There are also programs for children and families and young people as well as the regular evening programs and hatha yoga classes.
The local community welcomes seekers from all walks of life.

It is a spiritual sanctuary for people of all faiths and beliefs, based on the understanding that meditation belongs to everyone.

Upcoming Events

Please see below for the final events at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Sydney
before we go on our summer pause, beginning on Monday 16 December.

We will return in 2025 in the first weekend of February for a
Seva day on Sunday 2 February, followed by a recitation of Shri Guru Gita the following weekend on Sunday 9 February.

During the summer pause, we invite you to explore the opportunity of an Ashram Self-Reliant Stay
as an individual or group from 27 December, 2024 to 19 January, 2025. Click here for further information.

Attire

Ashram guests are asked to dress modestly. Please avoid tight or sheer clothing, low-cut or sleeveless tops, short dresses and shorts.
It is appropriate to dress more formally for the Guru Gita and for programs held in the Hall.


Parking

When you are visiting the Ashram, please keep resident driveways clear, and please do not park in the residential permit spaces in the streets surrounding the Ashram.
