The Ashram residency experience offers Siddha Yoga students the opportunity to deepen their sadhana by becoming immersed in the sacred atmosphere of the Ashram.
Stays at the Ashram are based on the Siddha Yoga Ashram Daily Schedule designed by Baba Muktananda and continued by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. The schedule includes early morning meditation, swadhyaya, chanting and seva (selfless service).

Over the years, Baba and Gurumayi have frequently emphasised the importance of performing the practices of the Ashram Daily Schedule with discipline. This focus continually fortifies oneself and contributes to the uplifting atmosphere of the Ashram for the benefit of all.
Siddha Yogis come to the Ashram to both experience and contribute to this sacred environment. Beginning early in the morning and continuing throughout the day, students come together for the Siddha Yoga practices of meditation, chanting and seva.
The practice of silence, Siddha Yoga study, sadhana circles and japa walks may be included. The Ashram has been recently renovated, is surrounded by tranquil gardens and is within a short walk to the river parklands.
Staying in the Ashram is an immersive experience. Residents are requested to refrain from participating in external activities while staying at the Ashram.
Ashram Short Stays
The residency team periodically offers Ashram stays, often coinciding with Siddha Yoga celebrations. Please check the calendar for upcoming dates.
Self-Reliant Stays
Ashram self-reliant stays are available for Siddha Yoga students who are familiar with living in an Ashram. Residents can stay independently for up to one month, while organising their own shopping, meal preparation, maintaining their own daily schedule and offering seva. This type of stay is suitable for individuals, groups such as sadhana circles and seva teams, as well as Siddha Yoga friends.
