Chanting with Gurumayi Chidvilasananda
Muktanandaya in the Gujari Todi Raga evokes feelings of longing for and devotion to God, as well as the quality of great compassion. It is deep and profound in nature, capable of creating the experience of palpable inner stillness.
The chant emerges from and merges back into the sacred sylable Om, moving from one rasa or mood, to another: from profound silence to soaring crescendoes.
The melody for this chant was composed by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and this chant was recorded live with Gurumayi and Siddha Yoga musicians during the 2002 Mahasamadhi Global Intensive.
